Tips from locals
Great location and food. Try to have dinner around sunset and the view is breathtaking!!
This is a FISH restaurant. If you don't like fish don't bother with this restaurant. The view is wonderful, the building is beautiful, the food is ONO (the best) but it is pricey. Most locals reserve this for celebrations. Reservations required. Save room for the Black Pearl.
It is almost a must try spot. Excellent drinks, appetizers, anything!!!! Beatiful location. Call in early or before arrival for reservations, lunch or dinner.. Sit at a table or at the bar :)
Love the food but it's pricey. Beautiful scenery and great for special occasions.
This is the quintessential Hawaiian dining experience. The restaurant sits beachside and the ambiance is old Hawaiian - comfortable setting, surrounded by nature, and excellent food. A great choice for a special night out, anniversary or birthday celebration. Reservations recommended.
Fine dining, great fish dishes, great place to celebrate. Oceanfront establishment.

“Paia Fish Market is a great place to have a casual lunch or dinner. They have large picnic tables that you share with other people, we get takeout from here often. I recommend the Cajun Mahi-mahi burger, fish and chips, or your choice of fish on a beautiful salad with their papaya seed dressing. Beer on tap and wines by the glass.”

“The summit of Haleakalā is stunning any time of day or night, but sunrise is the most popular activity. Ask Pamela how to get reservations for the sunrise experience. You wonʻt need a reservation if you go up after 7am. There are many levels of hiking available in the Natʻl Park, and the stars at night are beyond compare. HIGHLY recommended.”
