The church was built by Nicolau Nasoni, an Italian architect and painter who left an extensive body of work in the north of Portugal during the 18th century. Climbing up the tower is 3 Euros. Suggested if there is good weather.

The Clérigos Tower is the highest tower in Portugal, its 76 meters high and the more than 200 steps give access to a privileged panoramic view of the Porto. You can take amazing pictures in the top of the tower.
