This is our first stop grocery store, especially if we are going to be in town for a few weeks. Less expensive than the more Americanized Auto Mercado, but a bigger selection than the other local grocery stores.

Grocery store across street from AutoMercado. Good selection, good place to buy meat and chicken. Good selection

The Super Luperon is one of 3 large grocery stores in Playas Del Coco. Here you can find many of your "I forgot to bring my...." items from toothbrush to flip-flops to pillows. The store is clean, the prices are comparable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. A lot of locals, as well as transplanted ex-pats, shop here.
