A fantastic day trip option that features a historic lighthouse and miles of hiking trails along the rugged coastline. :)

Tomales Point Trailhead (9.4 miles roundtrip) non loop with over 1k elevation with beautiful breathtaking views is worth the hike all the way to the end of the pennisula! Trail head starts by the large white non working barn/farm at Point Pierce Ranch. Lots of parking but no public bathrooms! Hundreds of 500lb Tule Elk live on this land so please keep your distance if you want to watch them and take photos. This is my FAVORITE hike in Sonoma county and the bay area!

Why Not? See how many lighthouses you can find in Marin! Have a sip at an old watering hole. Stroll the shops.
