The Hotel de Paris has been drawing people to Georgetown since it opened in 1875—then as one of the state's premier hotels and restaurants and now as a museum.

Amazing old hotel on the Georgetown main street (6th St). This one has been in a number of movies including "Phantoms".

“Georgetown , Colorado/ Just an FYI there is a great lunch place just off the Highway in Georgetown ... it is far less expensive than Vail and I always feel better eating there because it get's me on the road and gets me halfway to or from Denver. It's called Coopers On The Creek some of the best food that Iv'e ever had and an outdoor covered deck that is very close to the river bank. They have a Duck pot pie that I'd drive up from Denver to eat.”

“We love this local gem in Georgetown. It's 25 minutes west in a quaint mining town. The salsa's and margs are worth the drive and it's close enough for a quick trip and far enough into the mountains to feel worlds away from the city. ”
