So many beautiful embassy buildings- during the spring and summer they sometimes hold open houses

Take a stroll up and down Massachusetts Avenue to view the Embassies of many countries. These buildings often offer beautiful architecture that is reminiscent of the countries they represent. Embassies also commonly offer special events, so check online to see if anything is happening!

This part of the city is where many of the embassies are. Worth a visit and a pretty walk!

This beautiful street (big sidewalks on both sides) is a great place to run or just walk and take in the architecture of the embassies. If you go far enough, You'll reach the Naval Observatory (atomic clock).

“Apologies on this one - parking SUCKS!!! However, this is the best nail salon in the area (or so I hear). There are many others, but the consensus seems to be it is worth all the inconvenience to get to this one in Adam's Morgan - on the busiest street. Parking? Nightmarish. ”
