The hike to the falls is super easy. The trail is wide and not steep at all. It's very popular, sometimes even crowed. Our favorite time to go is fall in the late afternoon. It's just past Branbury State Park.
This trail is an easy half hour or so up along a pretty brook. At the top is Silver Lake, where you can swim in the summer.
Park at the Silver Lake Trail head. Easy hike up with nice views. If you bring your dog, please obey the leash laws.
Nice short hike to a pretty waterfall. Continue to Silver Lake. The trail has some of the oldest trees in the state (Vermont has been clearcut several times during the farming days)
Beautiful hiking through the woods where you will see gorgeous water falls and have access to stunning views. This trail will also take you up to the remote and beautiful untouched Silver Lake.
