Tips from locals
If you like to learn more about birds and nature, go on a walk and they even have a kids outdoor music park. There is biking from here as well.
A must see! Beautiful trails along Gaetz Lake and through woods, 3 km walking loop or a longer one, many waterfowl in this area and an interpretive centre!
Newly renovated exhibits, natural playground and music garden or simply go for a stroll on one of our fabulous nature trails in the Sanctuary.
Fantastic 4 km hiking trail around the ponds behind the nature center. Lots of bird life and about 2.5km of the walk is in the trees, so it's a great sanctuary to visit in the middle of the city and it's not very busy at all. The nature center also has a unique playground built in a natural setting…
