A trip to Pizzo is worthwhile not only because of the numerous ice cream parlors. The harbor invites you to stroll and the old town is definitely worth a walk. You should treat yourself in one of the many cafes an ice cream or tartufo, because the ice cream craft has a very long tradition here.

Pizzo has many attractions and great veiws from the clifftop plaza and I would recommend as a must see 1) Piedigrotta Church 2) Castello Aragonese Murat which is close to the plaza.

Pizzo is one of Calabria’s prettiest towns perched precariously on a steep cliff overlooking the ocean. Steeped in history, enjoy wonderful sightseeing, seafood, pizza and tarfufo! Lovely people!
