Tips from locals
If you like sweets (Danes do!), Danish pastries can be found here. Our local favorite is the "Christianshavner Kage".
Try some of the traditional Danish pastry. It's a chain bakery and can be found in many locations in the city.
The original 'bakery' in Copenhagen taking the art of baking to new heights (quality and prices wise ;)). Perfectly located at Christianshavn.
Expensive but good. The first of many stores, that now is all over Denmark. Try one of the many traditionel “Danish wiernerbrød” or a Christianshavnertærte! The chokorug is also my favorite.
Big danish bakery chain, but the quality is still great! You can sit there and eat, but it's also great for grabbing something to go. Located right next to Christianshavn metro station.
