Tips from locals
A 10 minute walk, Taps is a craft brew pub that has daily specials, live music and a patio. Very reasonably priced.
They make their own local beer , great food, plus live music and fun games . Wednesday is Wing Night. We like sitting at the bar.
Great Brewhouse with seasonal craft beers as well as homemade burgers. Great prices located across the street from the Airbnb.
It is a good bar with a selection of good quality beer, some of which is brewed on the premises. There is excellent live music most Friday and Saturday nights.

“We only go here for one thing. Burgers. One burger in particular; The Big Brisket Burger. A hand made chuck patty, slow smoked and rested beef brisket, a handed down recipe of sweet BBQ sauce, cheddar and mayo. It comes with fresh cut fries and the best beer on tap to go with it, Coors Banquet. They might make good BBQ too, we don't know, we've never been able to order anything other than the burger! (Back Bacon = Canadian Bacon ((We're in Canada, how can we call it Canadian Bacon??))) Plenty of metered parking on the street, or a 15 minute walk from Spring Manor.”

“This is a great local restaurant that serves great food at reasonable prices. During January and February they usually have great specials. If you want to know where locals go, well, this is the place. It can get busy at times, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are in a rush. ”

“Liquor Store close to Cat's Cottage. They also sell beer but not in cases.. only singles or 6 packs but they carry all wines and liquors. Beware of hours... Ontario Liquor stores are owned and operated by the government and they have limited hours. If this one is closed , try the one on Ferry St. & Stanley Ave.”
