Tips from locals
One of Oregon's pioneer micro-breweries and one of the best! Amazing beer and solid pub food, and directly across the street from ten barrel. Great to put on the pub crawl route!
Rogue is one of Oregon's brewery jewels. They have great happy hour options and their beers are world renowned.
The food here is not so great, but the beers are iconic Oregon and one of the first to go international. I'd have a pint here as a local.

“Great burgers and beer in a hip, lively spot in NW. Love the wood carvings depicting Pacific NW scenes. Gluten-free individuals can even get gluten-free beer and hamburger buns there. One of our favorite places for a casual meal. Be prepared to wait, though!”

“I haven't been here myself, but would like to go. This may be the oldest/first brewery in downtown Portland but they may have moved actual brewing operation's elsewhere.”
