“Fort Lauderdale is known as the “Venice of America” because of its’ many beautiful waterways. One of the best ways to Explore our city is from the water. The Water Taxi is more than just a boat ride. The captains and crew are well versed on the city and the many attractions that can be viewed from the water. As such, they provide a narrated excursion that includes historical information as well as fun and interesting information about the many mansions and mega yachts that line the waterways. There are 10 stops in Fort Lauderdale and one stop in Hollywood at the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort and the Historic Hollywood Broadwalk offering live entertainment nightly. Additionally, Water Taxi operates a complimentary Water Trolley that is supported by the City of Fort Lauderdale that makes 8 stops along the River Route. Your ticket allows you to hop on and off the boats all day. Your All Day Pass also links Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. $28 all day pass, $23 Sr/Military (Seniors are age 65 or older), $14 child 5-11 (children 4 and under are free). Moonlight Madness – after 5pm $18. Must be purchased on board after 5pm. $299 annual pass (must be purchased at the Water Taxi Headquarters). Tickets are also valid for discounts at over 60 Cruise & Save partner shops, restaurants, and attractions. Important note: For ticketing and boarding, go directly to one of the water Taxi stops, not the office as Water Taxis do not depart from the office location. ”
