Awesome Level Hike - around the tip of the island:) 1.5 miles each way on flat terrain.
A hop, skip, and a jump away. Easy hike with breathtaking views and relaxing tide pools (low tide!).
If you drive as far west as you can, you will reach Kaena point where you can enjoy a hike to the very west of the island, see Monk Seals and in the winter see Whales!
It is a beautiful place to take an easy hike. During winter, you can see whales offshore, Hawaiian albatross and terns nesting, and monk seals giving birth. Some Native Hawaiian birds and vegetation.
