Ottawa is known for its shawarma! This is our favourite place - get a sandwich for a smaller meal, and the plate for a large meal. Don't skip out on the potatoes. Two garlic sauces, give the spicy one a try! Best for takeout.

Shawarma is Ottawa's favourite late night food with chicken or beef wrapped in a pita and smothered in a strong garlic sauce. Open lunch until late.

Seeing as Ottawa is the Shawarma capital of the world, you should get a sandwich in the city. Meat is super moist here. I like the falafel salad as a vegetarian - huge portion.

Get a shawarma platter or sandwich on the go. This is our fav place to get quick, hearty grub. It's at the top of our street and always a win.
