Croix rousse is my favorite place in the world, living the local life is the best way to enjoy it Market everyday but mondays (petite place de la croix rousse & boulevard de la croix rousse), you can find many things, worldwide delights, especially on week ends. Shop on the marketplace, have coffee on one of all the terrasses on the way, eat oysters at le plateau de manu or jutard, brunch at le Dejeuneur, enjoy the grande côte point of view

Lovely little « village » on top of the hill, with its morning farmers’ markets. Great restaurants are found in the area (Le Canut et les Gônes, 36 Le Cosy, Opaline, Chez Lucien, Aromatic, Le Plato, et tant d’autres) as well as nice little coffee shops serving cakes and offering brunch options (Tonka, Fiko, Le Desjeuneur). Beautiful views of Lyon and shopping street.
