Tips from locals
Overrated burmese restaurant. Everyone recommends the tea leaf salad, but its not very good. Just a tourist trap now.
DEEELLLLICIOUS. Omg get the Rainbow salad to share, then secretly order one to go for yourself. It’s so good, you’ll thank me for it :))) MUST go on your trip!! Opens at 5PM. Go @5PM :)
Again, you will wait. There will be a very tasty treat waiting for you at the end of the line. Your mileage may vary. Sometimes the wait is a bit long.
SF has a lot of good Burmese food, not exactly sure why, but this is one of the best.
A cross between Indian & Thai. Try the tea leaf salad and sumusa soup. Save some time and check in for the waitlist on Yelp.
Worth the drive or uber across the park. Must try the tea leaf salad. Expect to wait in a line. WORTH IT!
It’s always busy but has a sister restaurant called B-Star on the next block
One of the best Burmese restos in SF. Long lines - call to put your name on the list, then go get drinks.

“Favorite Breakfast spot around. They always have great food but there can be a line so try to get there early or have someone arrive and put your name down. Its a decent walk but easy to do and Clement street has some other great restaurants, bars and some shopping. ”
