Kopaszi dam is an artificial, well maintained park where signs are encouraging guests to step on the grass. Due to it’s spectecular views and promenades it quickly became one of the local favorits.

The 'Kopaszi-gát' is a peninsula in South-Buda area of the city. It is a perfect place to leave the crowded city for couple of hours to have a good dinner, or just a coffe, or just to lay down for a chill in the grass on the ground. Also recommended for families! You can even walk and feed ducks…

It is 5 min by car and 20 mins on foot. The nicest part is that you can take a small ship on the Danube river that functions just like a regular bus or tram in the city: it leaves in every 30 (or something) minutes and moves up north along Danube and stops at various places where you can get off and…

Kopaszi-gát is a beautifully landscaped narrow peninsula in south Buda, next to Rákóczi Bridge. Nestled in between the Danube on one side and a protected bay, popular for kayaking, on the other it has a lovely beach feel. Kopaszi-gát is also a favorite picnic spot and the park offers lots of outdoor…

Park
“A spot frequented by denizens of Budapest in the Buda hills, Normafa is known for its panoramic scenery and fresh air. It is located on Svábhegy and is close to Jánoshegy, the highest point in Budapest. The name is derived from the name of a tree, the "Norma tree."”

Beer Garden
“On the way to Szentendre, bike road drives you trough this riverside area. Hungarian rowers built the first charnel houses here (first rowing race was at 1842, the winner was Adam Clark, builder of the Chain Bridge). Besides being home of many racing teams, nowadays it is very popular in the season among inner city inhabitants, who often leaves the noisy downtown for the relaxing rverside, where there are a lot of bars providing safety drinks for those hot summer days. Don't miss Csónakház restaurant and beergarden.”

Bridge
“The First Permanent Connection Between Buda and Pest. The Chain Bridge is one of the best known landmarks of Budapest. The picturesque historic stone bridge straddles the Danube between Széchenyi Square on the Pest side and Clark Ádám Square in Buda. You can walk across it from Buda to Pest and back – an excellent way to absorb the World Heritage-protected sights and panorama and to take wonderful photos. It offers one of the city’s most stunning views with the mighty Danube flowing below you. The grandiose Parliament dominates the riverside in Pest, while Castle Hill towers at the Buda end.”
