St. Louis #1 is the oldest & most historic cemeteries in New Orleans. Many visitors seek out the tomb of Marie Laveau, NOLA's most famous Voodoo priestess. Keep in mind that visitors cannot access this cemetery without an official tour guide!

A must-see and there are others as well. Walking tours in and around the city are wonderful. The tour guides are often locals that simply love their city and want to share the history.
