Botanic Garden is well maintained and beautiful at all times of the year. I have a pass for parking if you are driving, as the parking is expensive. Worth the trip.

Absolutely beautiful with plenty of things to see and do. The Japanese Garden area is a favorite. Admission is free (unless you're seeing an exhibit), but parking is $20 for non-members.

“If you want to go see some live music, Ravinia is the place to do it! They have incredible acts come through, and you can bring your own food, wine, etc. If you do not have lawn chairs or tables, you can even rent them there! A picnic blanket is another great option for their sprawling lawns. You can hear the concert from anywhere in the venue. We love Ravinia!”
