Is it the raging tides? The beautiful hiking trails? Is it the ghost stories where ships wrecked? Is it the density of fog unlike any place in America? Whatever attracts you, it is a must see...but with a fee. Get your WA Parks and Recreation Discover pass. Annual pass: $30 One-day pass: $10

There are lots of things to do here. The two lighthouses are a must. Great panoramic views of the ocean and Columbia River. May even have some whale sightings. A walk along the North Jetty that juts out into the ocean(sea lions and brown pelicans abound) or a stroll on Benson Beach(no autos). Day…

Cape Disappointment is a fun half day trip. I recommend the museum and a walk up to the lighthouse. IF you go out on the north jetty you can observe the large waves crashing against the cliffs.

There are no words to describe this enormous park. Two lighthouses, Waikiki Beach for swimming and surfing, Bell's View lookout at the North Head Lighthouse, old military installations, hiking, camping, Serious Pizza, views galore.
