www.valleyforgeaudubon.org/ 130 acre estate that was the first home in America of painter and naturalist, John James Audubon and is currently maintained as a museum and wildlife sanctuary in Audubon PA. The Valley Forge Audubon Society and the John James Audubon Center have a shared membership and co-sponsor a variety of programs and events related to birds, wildlife, conservation and art. A shared Calendar of Events for birding activities in the area is published bi-annually and featured on both websites. In addition to offering regular bird walks, hikes and events, Valley Forge Audubon Society oversees the stewardship of the Eva R. Meng Sanctuary, a 100 acre forested property .
