A beautiful spot within a quick walk of Glenorchy township. There's a trail that goes through and around the lagoon or you can simply pick a bench and enjoy the view!

A fantastic walk near our property, either 30 minutes or an hour depending on your route. Black swans, reflections on a still day, easy boardwalk and lots of colours in autumn.

Glenorchy is a charming town featuring pristine lakes, red beech forests, open plains and towering peaks. Cornering both Mt Aspiring and Fiordland National parks, its untouched landscapes have been made famous in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This prime filming location has boosted Glenorchy tourism, especially for Glenorchy Paradise, one of the most famous places to visit in Central Otago and a must-see on your next visit to New Zealand.

A stunning easy walk that starts near the property. Choose from the short or long loop (30mins/1hr) and get great views of the head of the lake, plus lots of ducks and swans. If the weather's right you'll get gorgeous reflections too as you're surrounded by mountains. Dog friendly and starts/finishes in the village so it's easy to refresh yourself after.

You can see it from here, so you shouldn't need directions!
