Tips from locals
If you never tasted a Portuguese BBQ Chicken this a place to start. Affordable, and more of a take out restaurant.
"This place was featured on Anthony Bourdain's show The Layover and was voted #1 Best Portuguese 2013 & #1 Best BBQ Chicken 2013 by Cult MTL"
Well-known Portuguese rotisserie and arguably the best around! Sans doute l'une des meilleures rôtisseries portugaises du coin!
They know how to make great Portuguese chicken! Juste tried it and it was so worth it. The hot sauce is so good! The fries are well seasoned. A must if you feel like chicken. Portions are big!
Montreal's most known Portuguese chicken joint... Expect lineups but it is worth it. However, not much room to eat inside.

“Best poutine in Montréal! Hands down. It’s an eclectic 50’s style diner run by cool people who sling burgers, fries, poutines, and pints. It’s kinda punk rock; the people are kind with great music. It’s always busy but don’t be shy. It’s worth the hustle. I’d recommend the traditional poutine with a beer. A seat near the window over looking Mount Royal is ideal! It’s always busy! But keep in mind it’s closed during the winter seasons. ”
