Bedford Avenue and Lafayette Avenue have a G train stop for movement inside Brooklyn only. Take the G north towards Court Square getting off on the Metropolitan/Lorimer stop for underground connection to the L train or to visit Williamsburg.

Bedford Ave. on the North and South side of Williamsburg is full of clothing stores, restaurants, and bars.
The morning commutes are CRAZY during the week from about 7:30am-10pm. Plan at least 15 minutes of extra travel time in the instance that you may not be able to get on the first 2 trains that pass by due to the floods of people.
