Tips from locals
Mount Lycabettus, also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos, is a Cretaceous limestone hill in Athens, Greece at 300 meters above sea level. Pine trees cover its base, and at its two peaks are the 19th century Chapel of St. George, a theatre, and a restaurant
You have to „climb“ a bit but it is absolutely the most breathtaking place in Athens! Definitely worth it!
A beautiful hill of Lycabettus where the view is breathtaking. From there you can see all of Athens...
Great viewpoint overlooking the city, nice walk up the hill, can access with a Funicular as well.
