Waynesville is located about 7 miles northeast of the Blue Ridge Parkway, with several great hiking trails, overlooks and waterfalls within easy driving distance. Our favorite Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks in the area include the Cowee Mountains Overlook (Milepost 430.7), Standing Rock Overlook (MP 441.4), and the Woolyback Overlook (MP 452.3).
