The dockyards at Portsmouth are a fantastic place to learn about and explore historical ships, with hands on activities, making it a great day out for all the family. As children we spent many happy hours running about the HMS Victory!

Expensive but well worth a visit - to do all the attractions will take more than a day. Be warned that the Mary Rose Museum has its own Ticket but is the best exhibit. The Harbour Tour is a must as it is really good and insightful.
