The Barrier Reef Tavern and Kai are at the end of the street. Kai Restaurant is great and does coffee and breakfast and a great dinner. The restaurant is not licensed but you can get your drinks from the Tavern and take to the restaurant. 35-37 REEF STREET, Port Douglas Queensland 4877 07 4099 3655

Awesome food at affordable prices, it has a real local pub feel to it. Kids are welcome and there is a small play area inside for them.
