This is a great way to escape the mass tourism of Lauterbrunnen and Kleine scheidegg. The gondola is cheap and the restaurant serves local products like Fondue, raclette and hot chocolate. the hike is peaceful and you can rent buggies as well for some down hill funn

Stunning hiking trail to Lobhornhütte with an amazing view on the majestic Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau! Sulwald to Lobhornhütte is a 1.5 hours hike up (the way down it takes around 45 to 60 min). This hiking trail is comparably steep, most of the part through forest and over and over again you can catch the view over the majestic mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. How to get there: From Thun to Lauterbrunnen by train. Lauterbrunnen to Isenfluh by postal bus (check the timetable before - sometimes there is no bus between 2 hours!) Isenfluh to Sulwald by cable car (it is an experience it self). The small and historical cable car has been running since 1975 and can transport eight people or one cow. This little cable car is very special and is closely linked to life in the village. Isenfluh: The small, unspoilt mountain village is beautifully situated above Lauterbrunnen. From here the panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is enchanting. The village is fare from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions and has its own special charm. Here you will discover untouched, natural surroundings with unusual geological formations. Isenfluh is at 1081m and Sulwald, which you can reach by cable car is at 1530m. Lobhornhütte - take a break and enjoy the beautiful view!
