On August 19, 1979, the remains of former President Manuel Quezon were reinterred at the memorial and by a virtue of presidential decree, it was declared a National Shrine.

In this park is open to public, you can do walking, biking or running. there is available children park for the kids to play. You can rent a bicycle also. There are sometime event and exhibit that showcase plants.
