Why locals recommend it
Lions and tigers and bears – and so much more, on lovely grounds make the Denver Zoo one of the most popular zoos in America. Go underwater with polar bears at Northern Shores, or eyeball-to-eyeball with a gorilla in Primate Panorama. Predator Ridge recreates the plains of Africa with a pride of lions, while Tropical Discovery is rainforest teeming with crocodiles and gila monsters.

Our zoo is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Our daughter loves the train and the carousel and we like that you can get a craft beer and good food.

“If you are looking for a more typical, big shopping center, Cherry Creek Mall is the place to go. It has got Macy's, Nordstorms, Apple Store and an AMC Theatre. When it is cold and snowy, it is a better place to get your shopping down than the 16th street mall. ”
