This is as Traditonal a Pub as you will find in London. In the hands of the same family for over 60+ years. It has been used as a backdrop in several films and a pub has been on the site for hundreds of years. On a sunny day, you can sit outside and enjoy a pint!

A haven of tranquillity in a Borough sidestreet bookended by Peabody Trust residences, the Lord Clyde is a lived-in home from home for middle-aged regulars and penny-conscious students. A Truman’s landmark – note the pub sign outside and the etched mirror within (‘Unrivalled Mild Ales & Double…

“The Stage Door is our friendly local pub & kitchen downstairs. We've got a great selection of drinks and fantastic gastro food waiting for you. When the weather is nice, you can chill in our roof garden, or when the cold sets in, just relax at the bar. ”

Modern European Restaurant
“There’s a modern-canteen feel to this restaurant, which bases its menus on what’s in the market that day. Food is cooked on a wood-fired grill, which makes for mighty flavoursome cheese burgers and delicious Barnsley chops.”

“Arabica manages to capture the golden age of the Levant solely through its great food and buzzy vibe – visual short-cuts such as belly dancers and ‘Arabian Nights’ murals are kicked to the kerb in favour of a more modern cliché (London’s ever popular bare-brick-and-filament-bulb decor). Dishes hail from all corners of the Middle East and neighbouring countries. For drinks, try Lebanese, Syrian, Israeli or Turkish wines, or one of the spectacular cocktails. Table-turning is strict, but Levantine-style hospitality means you won’t feel rushed.”
