Tips from locals
Visit the Amazon HQ campus here. Rent paddlebords, kayaks, or boats. Shake Shack and other local eateries all walkable.
This is yet another neighborhood that borders Belltown. South Lake Union is where a lot of the Amazon buildings are, but also has a great park right on the water. It is also home to the MOHAI (Seattle Maritime Museum)
Rent a kayak or standup paddle board on a good day to experience different view of the city from the water. Take a dip in the water during the summer time and have a picnic at the park.
This area is where the Amazon campus is. A lot of these places are new. Food: Tacos Chukis, Serious Pie and Biscuit (pizza, and a great breakfast spot), Ba Bar (fancier vietnamese spot with great cocktails and food, just pricier than the average vietnamese spot). Bars: Re:public, Brave Horse…

“There is a trolley station just south of the Museum of History and industry. This trolley will take you past Amazon Headquarters, right into downtown Seattle. The lightrail station is nearby; hop on that to get to Pioneer Square, Capitol Hill, University District, and even all the way to SeaTac International Airport.”
