Riverfront Heritage Trail (start at the beginning near 2nd and Main for a great overlook point before starting the trail down the stairs). This overlook and trail go along the river for spectacular views, especially during sunset.

This growing trail system connects our neighborhood to the City Market, the Berkley Riverfront Park on the Missouri River, and across the Kaw River to Kaw Point in Kansas City, KS. An urban hiking adventure!

Riverfront trail brings you down to the MO, a great place for a run or bike ride.

Museum
“This may sound like an odd thing to do whilst in Kansas City but hair art was actually a very popular form of art in the 1800’s. Leila’s Hair Museum, situated in Independence (just east of Kansas City), is a quirky but entertaining museum displaying the largest collection of wreaths and jewelry made from hair. The collection is the only one of its kind on display to the public making it a truly unique experience and one that is guaranteed to stick in your memory.”
