This is the bottom of the Halifax peninsula. Great little hike with good views of the harbor. Bonus points, it is located nearby to the Halifax Seaport farmer's market!

Point Pleasant Park is a large, mainly forested municipal park at the southern tip of the Halifax peninsula. It once hosted several artillery batteries, and still contains the Prince of Wales Tower - with (1796) the oldest Martello tower in North America. ....and if you bring some seeds; you can have squirrel eating out of your hand (literally)...:)
