A great hike to the top of this Peak! Fantastic views of the region. Take water and a picnic. Go early in the summer months as it gets hot.

The 1.5 hour hike up Pic Saint-Loup is just the right amount of challenge for beginner hikers and a great day out for avid hikers with a breathtaking view at the top. Children as young as 6yo can hike it too (although I've witnessed even younger do it!)

“On the border of the Languedoc and the Cévennes, the water has hollowed out the plateau of Thaurac, creating an underground masterwork. Concretions, stalagmites and stalactites are so beautiful here, that they seem to have been made by man. Still, they have been formed by nature. In the main chamber, also called the Cathedral, you’ll find an immense concretion that seems to represent the Virgin and the Child.”
