Abraço has our favorite coffee in the area, and they are very traditional about it; alternative milk users will be disappointed to learn that they do not offer any non-dairy accompaniment to your coffee. But if you can stomach lactose, it's a real treat. All of their pastries are also superb, and know that they don't allow any laptops. Quit your job—and make a friend instead!

Best coffee, amazing home-made pastries, and really loyal following. Also, very kid-friendly.

Abraço has standing room for roughly six people, and no seating except for a wooden table and bench outside. It needs nothing more, because Abraço is a pilgrimage site for many local self-proclaimed coffee snobs, for people who search far and wide for coffee like they had during their semesters in Venice.
