Tips from locals
Unforgettable Japanese food in the hip East-End. We always take guests here on their first trip!
Cozy spot for izakaya-style Japanese small plates, creative cocktails, beer & sake. Do get here at the start of service or put your name on the list and wander around the neighborhood till they call.

“With great food, an amazing bar, and a fantastic wine list, Drifter's Wife is recognized as one of Portland's best restaurants for good reason. Get a reservation (available via Resy on their website) far in advance if you want a table at on the weekend. In July and August weekends are usually booked out 3 weeks in advance. If you are in town on a weekday tables are much easier to come by.”
