About this place
Named after chef Joseph Lenn's late uncle, who sought local food establishments daily and returned only to those that provided quality experiences, J.C. Holdway aims to impart top-notch food and hospitality. Lenn, a Knoxville native who honed his chops at Blackberry Farms, is devoted to celebrating the exceptional producers of the South, and to maintaining a place for any occasion. Inspired by cooking forms in pre-dated, rural Appalachia, his kitchen is outfitted with the latest in wood-fire capabilities and produces dishes like smoked catfish-onion dip with bbq chips and grilled bone marrow with charred broccoli salad.
