Named after chef Joseph Lenn's late uncle, who sought local food establishments daily and returned only to those that provided quality experiences, J.C. Holdway aims to impart top-notch food and hospitality. Lenn, a Knoxville native who honed his chops at Blackberry Farms, is devoted to celebrating the exceptional producers of the South, and to maintaining a place for any occasion. Inspired by cooking forms in pre-dated, rural Appalachia, his kitchen is outfitted with the latest in wood-fire capabilities and produces dishes like smoked catfish-onion dip with bbq chips and grilled bone marrow with charred broccoli salad.
