Absolutely stunning beach when the tide is out... At the far end is a beautiful nature reserve - well worth the walk along the beach.

Made up of a 2.5km long, sandy beach, backed by a pebble ridge with Northam Burrows Country Park behind, Westward Ho! is a local favorite all year round. Wild and bracing in the winter, and popular with families, surfers, kite surfers and SUP boarders throughout the summer. Dogs are permitted from October to April on the whole beach and all year round at the Northam Burrows end. There is ample car parking and disabled parking close to the beach.
