The creations of chef/brewer Ian Huizenga and Eliza Benton, Hired Hand Brewing Co., use locally sourced ingredients to craft a family of exceptional hyperlocal beers, beer cocktails, and farm-to-table pizzas that are a true taste of Vermont. Beer ingredients are sourced from Homestead Hops in Starksboro, Peterson Quality Malt in Charlotte, water from the Huizenga Family Farm in Barnumtown, and foraged nuggets from around Addison County. Join Hired Hand Brewing for some of the best locally brewed craft beers, spirits and food Vermont has to offer in our light-filled tap room in historic downtown Vergennes, Vermont. Just below Hired Hand, their sister restaurant — Bar Antidote — cooks up healthy, comforting local food for take out and outdoor dining. On Fridays and Saturdays they expand their menu to feature Hired Hand pizzas.
