Tips from locals
Amazing exhibitions throughout, great light show at holiday time. Book in advance.
It's a City of Pittsburgh historic landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Great place to see plants of all types from all over the world. There is always something new to see with their rotation of seasonal shows. If you are visiting around Christmas time, you must check out the light show.

“Frick Park is an awesome 640 acre city park, easily accessible from this place. You can walk or drive the 0.6 miles to the entrance at the Frick Environmental Center, where you can walk or jog on any of the plentiful (hilly) hiking trails. There are also two playground areas at the edges of the park (one is the "Blue Slide Playground" made semi-famous by rapper Mac Miller). ”
