Swope Park is an enormous park that is also home to the Lakeside Nature Center, the Starlight Theater, a historic outdoor venue, and the Kansas City Zoo. There are also hiking and biking trails, and other park-related activities ready for you to explore!

This is one of my favorite parks for nature trails, light hiking and they a cool nature center hidden inside.

Good walking trails - recommend Wudchuk Run-Rancho D-Lux loop boardered/contained/circled by Oakwood Rd./Oldham Rd. The trail goes on the other side of Oakwood Rd., but it isn't as fun - mostly just woods.
