Awesome terrain for all level of skiers and exceptionally good if you find a local that will take you out West and show you all that Turoa has to offer - especially in spring.

Turoa skifield is located on the southwest slope of Mt Ruapehu, centered in Tongariro World Heratage National Park. it is considered by many as the best natural terrain skifield in NZ, and tends to have a deeper snow base than the northern skifield Whakapapa.
