Tips from locals
It has some of the best food vendors in town. It’s great for brunch. Great if you have children or not. Before ten on the weekend, it is dominated by people with small children. There are nice outside tables where parents can eat while kids play.
Trendy part of town where this is the next hot spot of DC. There are ton of market restaurant types and they are still expanding.
Union Market is a great spot to spend a weekend afternoon! It is essentially a large, trendy warehouse that has multiple restaurants, smaller food booths, jewelry, fresh seafood, coffee, and more. There is something for everyone to eat here! I recommend grabbing food and eating outside, or heading…
indoor market with different food vendors and shops. has great outdoor seating space as well.
One of my favorite places around. You can find something for everyone. Lots of great restaurants, sweets, coffee, tea, Beer... you name it. Has an outdoor, indoor and rooftop seating.
Union market has a great variety of food options and often host events for local vendors. Tons of outdoor seating. Check out the rooftop too! A quick 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk from Camino Amarillo.
