Just next to United Nations and Place des Nations, Geneva's botanical gardens are a vast and wonderful park one of it's kind, full of colorful flowers, variously shaped trees, kid's attractions and playgrounds, few animal farms and coffee shop.

Point of Interest
“Home to the UN since 1966, the Palais des Nations was built between 1929 and 1936 to house the now-defunct League of Nations. Visits are by guided tour (bring photo ID; no reservation required for groups of less than 15 people) and include a one-hour tour of the building and entry to the surrounding 46-hectare park, generously peppered with century-old trees and peacocks. Spot the grey monument coated with heat-resistant titanium, donated by the USSR to commemorate the conquest of space.”

Church
“A cathedral founded in the 4th century, it is the very center of Geneva. You can climb on the very top to enjoy the magnificent view of the city and also discover the interior of this majestic place. The visit of the ground floor is free but you have to pay to get to explore it's towers. They only accept cash (adult fee 5 CHF, 6-16 y.o. 2 CHF). ”
