Tips from locals
A steep but short 45 minute hike to the summit, has great views of San Diego and only 20 minutes away. If you need to break a sweat before a night out or want to kick a hangover early in the morning make the drive! Definitely worth it.
If you like hiking but don’t want to go far, this is a hike for you! We prefer taking the Baker Way trailhead up the fire road. Bring plenty of water. This is a great sunset hike. If you’re interested in that but don’t have headlamps for the decent, ask us and you can borrow some.
If your an early riser this is a perfect hike! When you get to the top you’ll enjoy breathtaking 360 views of all San Diego and enjoy a beautiful sunrise!
Great way to get in a good workout and to see the entire city from the highest point in the city of San Diego. Make sure to bring a bottle of water and good hiking shoes.
