Hollywood Cemetery, perched above the James River, is a beautiful sacred site. Going for a stroll is a peaceful and refreshing experience and visiting President's Circle, where Presidents James Monroe and John Tyler are buried, is a worthy experience.

I know it sounds crazy but it's a Richmond thing. When you go, follow the blue line or you will get lost. Great views of the James River. Two presidents buried here and the best spot to view the James.
Even most Richmond natives have never seen the great pyramid of Hollywood Cemetery. Civil War history may be increasingly controversial, but it's part of our history, nevertheless. If you haven't been to Hollywood Cemetery, it's worth a trip. My relative, JEB Stuart is buried there.
