Beautifully historic country house, which was home for a succession of well-known ironmasters for nearly 200 years. In the mid-19 century, Ringwood Manor was owned by Abram S. Hewitt, America's foremost iron master. Tours & events are offered year-round!

If you like history, a pretty setting, and a little stroll, then consider Ringwood Manor (about 17 minute drive). A nice old house, tours, and pretty gardens. Check the website for special events. ringwoodmanor.org

“Flatwater Paddle Co. is a great place to rent a kayak and paddle on motorboat free waters. Airbnb insists on labelling this entry "Greenwood Lake Paddleboards" so i guess they're affiliated with the local kayak rental place. Kayaking on Greenwood Lake is best on weekdays, when there's less boat traffic. ”
